The Homestead Company & J. Leigh Designz Giveaway

The Homestead Company – Taking Care of Your Skin as nature Intended – Review & Giveaway!

The Homestead Company originally started off as a good neighbor program! They wanted to help Mom’s find the most natural alternatives for their baby’s products. It wasn’t until later that it became a home based business. They offer many options for both adults, children, and even babies! All their products are made with the finest, natural ingredients. They also have a blog that you can check in on. From the information I got from their Facebook page they are putting together a very informative post on flu that will be full of great natural ways to fight the flu!

I had the opportunity to review the Foot Spa Gift Set. It came with Peppermint & Eucalyptus Hand & Foot Lotion, Hand & Foot Scrub with Emu & Kukui Nut Oil, and a pumice stone. I first tried the Hand & Foot Scrub. I really liked that it was more solid then the average scrub. This allowed me to have more uses. I just scooped out a small amount and rubbed it all over my hands and feet. It wasn’t as rough as the average scrub either. After a good rub it I rinsed it off. It left my hands and feet both really soft but I could not for the life of me get the insides of my hands to stop feeling slimy without using soap to get it off. However, it did leave incredibly soft skin behind! I would still use it just using soap to get the residue off the inside of my hands! Next I moved on to the pumice stone. It definitely helped remove dead skin off my feet. I’ve actually never used one before and I really liked how it left the edges of my heels! After I moved on to the Hand & Foot Lotion. I love the smell of it. It has since moved its way out of the bathroom and to my computer desk. I use it on a regular basis. I love how the scent actually perks me up.
